Mebetoys Model #A-3, Alfa Romeo Giulia

This is one of the first models in the Mebetoys series and appeared in 1966. It first appeard in the 1966 catalog sheet included with the model and the 1967 Mebetoys catalog, and continued to appear in Mebetoys catalogs until 1979. This model served as the "base model" for the Alfa Romeo Carabinieri, Mebetoys Model #A-7 and the Alfa Romeo Squadra Mobile, Mebetoys Model #A-8. Although a very popular model in Europe it was never issued as a Hot Wheels Gran Toros series model nor packaged under the Gran Toros name.
