Mebetoys Model #A-101, Porsche 917

This model first appeared in the mid-1970s. When the original Gran Toros Porsche 917, model #6623, was discontinued, Mebetoys reworked the tooling to remove the Gran Toros / Sputafuoco number 6623 and replace the Hot Wheels style wheels to convert this model for the "Mebetoys" series as model #A-101.
